Venue & access: Taga-no-Hama Beach, Awaji City About a 15-min drive from Tsuna-Ichinomiya IC on the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway, using the beach car park. By public transport, take a highway bus from Kobe or Osaka onto Awaji Island and continue by taxi from the nearest bus stop.

Why You Should Visit

A beach festival on Taga-no-Hama Beach on Awaji Island. Singers, rappers, restaurants and makers based on the island take the lead, packing a music stage, food, a market and hands-on sessions such as SUP and sunset beach haircuts into a single day. The special guest is soul singer Takuji Yamamoto, who sang backing vocals at Fujii Kaze's Nissan Stadium show. After sunset the site turns into a night market, and fireworks close the evening.

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are ¥1,500 in advance and ¥2,000 on the day. The advance sales channel has not been announced yet, so check the organiser's Instagram for the latest.

What happens if it rains?

It is an open-air beach venue. Whether the event and the fireworks go ahead in bad weather is announced on the official Instagram closer to the day.

Can I drive there, and is there parking?

It is about 15 minutes by car from Tsuna-Ichinomiya IC, using the beach car park. Check the official Instagram for how parking is run on the day and whether a shuttle is provided.

What time are the fireworks?

They close the day after sunset, but the start time has not been announced. Wait for the timetable to be published.
