Price & booking: Event badge ¥500 (optional). Separate fees: Hojo Gohyaku Rakan ¥200, Hyogo Prefectural Flower Center ¥400, Itoh Denki plant factory tour ¥600 Badges are on sale from October 9 at the Kasai Tourism Association inside sora Kasai (9:00–17:00, closed 2nd and 4th Mondays). On the day, they are also sold at Takahashi Shoyu, Itoh Denki and sora Kasai.

Why You Should Visit

A one-day tour of 11 spots across Kasai City, run by the Kasai Tourism Association on Labour Thanksgiving Day. Participants include a soy sauce brewery founded in 1921, an udon noodle maker, the Hojo Gohyaku Rakan with about 500 stone Buddhist statues, the Hyogo Prefectural Flower Center, sora Kasai with its full-size Shiden-Kai fighter replica, a furniture showroom with over 800 pieces, and the Fukunishiki sake brewery's new-sake festival. Show the ¥500 event badge for a perk at each venue; you can also take part without one. A good day out for anyone who wants to cover Kasai's food and sights in one go.

Yes. The ¥500 badge is only needed to receive the perks at each venue.

Can I buy a badge on the day?

Yes, on the day it is sold at three venues: Takahashi Shoyu, Itoh Denki and sora Kasai.

Can I join the plant factory tour at any time?

The Itoh Denki tour runs 10:00–11:30 and 13:00–15:00, costs ¥600 and includes two heads of lettuce to take home.
