Why You Should Visit
A one-day city arts festival around Kusatsu City Hall, built mainly for children. Twenty-four hands-on workshops fill City Hall, Aqua Plaza and the Sawayaka Health Center, from flower arranging, tea and Japanese dance to glass magnets and a build-your-own guitar. Amika Hall hosts performances by local high school bands and a short film made by elementary school students, and Komeda Park has a food area. Entry is free; some workshops charge a small materials fee. A relaxed day out for families who like making things together.

Getting between venues
- The City Hall area (City Hall, Sawayaka Health Center, Aqua Plaza, Amika Hall) is an 8–10 min walk from Kusatsu-juku Honjin; Komeda Park is a 6 min walk from the Honjin
- City Hall entrances open at different times (main entrance 10:00, south entrance and 2F walkway 10:05). The Sawayaka Health Center can only be entered from the 1st floor
