Why You Should Visit

A one-day showcase of what young people in Kyoto are making and doing, held around ROHM Theatre Kyoto. The name Yuskal is short for 'youth culture', and ROHM Square and the Promenade host stage performances, booths where youth groups present their activities, and an art exhibition. It is organised by the Kyoto City Youth Service Association, ROHM Theatre Kyoto and Kyoto City under the theme of new ways of seeing young people. Entry is free and no registration is needed, so it fits easily into a stroll around the Okazaki area on the Culture Day holiday.

No. Entry is free and there is no registration; just turn up on the day.

Can I come by car?

ROHM Theatre Kyoto has no car park. Use the nearby Miyako Messe or Okazaki Park car parks (both paid), or come by subway or city bus.
