Why You Should Visit
An annual autumn event at Yamadaike Park, a prefectural park in Hirakata. Volunteer groups active in the park run booths for flower-wreath making, bamboo crafts, trying a hand saw and simple plant experiments. There is also a petting zoo, tree climbing, slackline and an inflatable play structure, plus five food trucks and stage performances on the lawn. It suits families with kids up to primary-school age who want to spend the day outdoors.
