Why You Should Visit

A market of handmade goods for dogs — accessories, treats and more — runs for two days at Port Island's Civic Square in Kobe. It is an open-air venue you can walk through with your dog, with room for up to 90 stalls a day. Kitchen cars sell food and drinks, and there are photo spots and games you can join with your dog. Admission is free; you only pay for what you buy. Shimin-Hiroba Station on the Port Liner is right outside, so you can come without a car.
