Why You Should Visit

A winter illumination held every year from December 1 to 25 at LOGOS LAND, the recreation zone of Joyo City General Sports Park in southern Kyoto. 2026 marks the 25th edition, themed "A Space Tour from Joyo: Into the Unknown." The displays are handmade by local residents and exhibitors around the theme, and an 8-meter symbol tree anchors a park filled with colorful lights. There are food stalls but no stage events. An easy evening walk for families and couples in the run-up to Christmas.
