A traditional bon-odori in Kobe's Tarumi ward, held at Wadatsumi Shrine just by Tarumi Station. On summer evenings during the Obon season, locals form dance circles around the shrine grounds. The repertoire spans classic ondo tunes and anime songs kids love, so everyone can take part. Admission is free — a nice way to spend a summer night soaking up the local atmosphere.
