Why You Should Visit

A three-day show and sale inside the buildings of Seiganji, a scenic temple in Maibara, where ten makers present ceramics, lacquerware, woodwork, glass, paintings and accessories. From wooden tubs and lacquered wood to plant-dyed handweaving and jewelry made with Lake Biwa pearls and pond mussel shells, you can choose while talking with the makers. The temple is a 7-minute walk from the east exit of JR Maibara Station.
