About a 3-minute walk from Keihan Biwako-Hamaotsu Station, or about 15 minutes on foot from JR Otsu Station.

TICKETS / REGISTRATION

Advance sets have been on sale on e+ since 18 September, in limited numbers until sold out, and cannot be cancelled. The mini kinshi-don comes from Osakayama Kaneyo, and the original glass gets you a bigger pour at the sake booths. Vouchers are also sold at the venue on the day.

NOTE

How it works

• All food and drink is paid for with Unagi & Kozake vouchers. Buy them at the main reception, then head to the booths
• Advance ticket holders also need to stop at reception to exchange their vouchers
• Soft drinks and souvenirs can be bought with vouchers too
• Original glasses are sold on the day only if advance sets remain

Stalls

• Nine food stalls led by eel dishes, Omi Bakushu craft beer and a sake booth of Shiga breweries

Eel grilling booth

• Skewer and grill kabayaki eel yourself with an eel master
• ¥500, first 40 people each day, elementary-school age and up, once per person
• 11:20–16:00 in 20-minute sessions (part 1 11:20–13:20, part 2 14:00–16:00, planned). Reception opens at 11:00

After Unagi Fes

• Each 10-voucher book includes a ¥100 After Unagi Fes discount coupon for designated shops in Otsu after the festival (details to be announced)
