Why You Should Visit
A home-grown autumn festival run by Osaka's Chuo Ward festival committee and ward office. The 38th edition takes over the Naniwa Palace Site, right by Tanimachi 4-chome Station, with more than 50 groups and companies planning to take part. Expect food stalls, hands-on activities and games, a flea market, and booths on disaster preparedness, crime prevention and welfare. On stage, enka singer and Chuo Ward PR ambassador Kaori Mizumori makes a special appearance, alongside performances by local kids and community groups. An easy few hours out for families.
