A food festival in Osaka where you can actually taste the regional dishes featured on Yomiuri TV's show "Himitsu no Kenmin SHOW Kiwami." The Osaka Castle Kenmin Gourmet Zone in the plaza in front of JR Osakajokoen Station gathers locals' favourite foods from around Japan, with ramen at the centre. Around ytv headquarters, the Kenmin Nigiwai Zone sells handheld snacks and regional products from the show, plus exhibits recreating the show's world and a stage of regional entertainment. Admission is free, so it fits easily into a walk around Osaka Castle Park.
