Why You Should Visit
The 8th Lohas Park in Hirakata fills the Yodo River banks with handmade accessories, homewares, tableware and carefully made food. About 140 vendors take part over three days, alongside a food fest of around 20 stalls. A kids' park with bouncy castles, a mini steam train and a petting zoo, plus a kids' dance stage, make it an easy family outing over the autumn long weekend. This edition is held together with Yodogawa Activity Kurawanka, adding kayaking, rafting, SUP and kids' paragliding on and by the river. Free entry.
