Why You Should Visit
The Kobe-based community band Kobe Gakuentoshi Wind Orchestra gives its 38th annual concert, the "Maple Concert", at Kobe Bunka Hall's Medium Hall, a minute from Okurayama Station. Admission is free and no reservation is needed. The programme runs from the wind-band classic "Armenian Dances Part 1" to the F1 theme, the Mazinger Z anime theme and the J-pop hit "Lilac". Members range from teens to their sixties, and preschool children are welcome, so it is an easy afternoon of live music for families.
