Why You Should Visit
A day of hands-on disaster preparedness at Felissimo's headquarters in Shinko-cho and the adjacent Arena North Plaza. Feel a magnitude-7 quake in an earthquake simulator, escape a smoke-filled room, practise with water extinguishers and try being a firefighter. Family workshops on emergency food (allergy-friendly options), disaster pouches, medicinal tea and aromatherapy are partly paid and limited in number, booked in advance. There is also a stamp rally and an exhibition of preparedness ideas. Reachable from Sannomiya by the Port Loop bus, with indoor and outdoor areas, it suits families who want to brush up on preparedness with children.
