Why You Should Visit
Kizakura, a sake brewery in Fushimi, Kyoto, opens its Fushimigura brewery grounds once a year. Expect freshly pressed, unfiltered junmai daiginjo sold only on the day and craft beer poured straight from the keg. From 13:00 a limited quantity of Tanba Single Malt Whisky Cedar Cask Finish is sold by the shot. Taiki Suisan joins the food corner, and the stage features a kagami-biraki barrel opening, taiko drums and a barrel-wrapping demonstration, with a kids' corner including shooting games.
