Kikumasamune Taruzake Fair at KITTE Osaka 2026

Why You Should Visit

A month-long fair marking 60 years of Kikumasamune's Taruzake, with 19 restaurants in KITTE Osaka serving limited menus made to go with it. Each place pairs it with something different, from takoyaki and eel to oden and sushi-bar snacks, and the sake comes chilled, at room temperature or gently warmed, or with soda depending on the dish. Some sets start in the ¥400 range, and since KITTE Osaka is connected to Osaka Station, it's easy to stop in at one place on the way home. Good for anyone curious how a dry sake with the scent of Yoshino cedar casks works with different food.

FAQ

Can I choose how the Taruzake is served?

It depends on each restaurant's menu: the sake comes chilled, at room temperature or gently warmed, or with soda, whichever suits the dish. Some places offer more than one style.

Is there any giveaway?

Order a collaboration menu and you receive original goods featuring Taruzake's 60th-anniversary 'Ambassataru', rakugo storyteller Shunputei Ichinosuke, while stocks last.

Are any menus only available at certain times?

The senbero set at Kakuuchi Ono no Hanare on B1F is only served Monday to Thursday, 14:00–17:00. At the other restaurants you can order during opening hours.
