Why You Should Visit

A one-day festival on the Kakogawa riverbed built around hands-on booths for both children and adults: around 40 craft booths, 12 disaster-preparedness booths, about 12 play booths, roughly 10 stage acts and around 30 food trucks. New this year, students are running the first eve festival, Kako Re:Birth Night, on the evening of Oct 17, with an outdoor film screening, lanterns and a night bubble show on the riverbed. Admission is free, about 10 minutes on foot from Kakogawa Station.
