Why You Should Visit

The 103rd edition of Japan Coffee Festival, a touring coffee event held across the country, takes over TauT Hankyu Rakusaiguchi, the shopping strip under the elevated tracks of Hankyu Rakusaiguchi Station, for two days. Fifteen coffee shops from Kyoto, Osaka, Shiga, Tottori, Kagawa and beyond gather here, and a strip of three coffee tickets lets you compare cups from different stands. One of the three is a "destiny coffee ticket" for a cup left partly to chance. Talk sessions on Japan's kissaten (coffee house) culture run on both days. A good fit for coffee lovers who want to sample many roasters in one visit.
