Ikeda Irasshai Festival 2026

Why You Should Visit

A summer festival hosted by Ikeda City at Ikeda Elementary School, a short walk from Ikeda Station. Dozens of night stalls fill the schoolyard while the stage runs through the Orihime contest, yosakoi dance, cheer teams and the local-hero Ikeda Ranger show. The highlight is the 20:40 night bubble show of light, sound and soap bubbles, plus a fireworks-ticket lottery. Running evening-only, it's an easy outing with kids once the heat eases.

FAQ

Is it cancelled if it rains?

Light rain doesn't stop it. The decision is made at 9:00 on the morning of the event and posted on the Ikeda City website if cancelled.

What time should I go?

Stalls and the stage start at 16:00, but the headline bubble show is at 20:40. Arriving after 18:00 for dinner at the stalls, then staying for the show, works nicely.
