By car, about 20 minutes north on Route 175 from Tamatsu IC (free parking: 80 spaces east, 114 west).
Why You Should Visit
An annual autumn festival marking the founding of the Hyogo Agri Life Center in Kande-cho, Nishi-ku, Kobe. 2026 is its 20th anniversary, adding a ceremony, a keynote talk and a panel of graduates from the center's farming school. The day brings tethered hot-air balloon rides for families (free, by application), autumn food such as bread, roasted sweet potatoes, stone-oven pizza and free imoni potato stew, plus black edamame and mushroom picking. Admission and parking are free, making it an easy day out in the countryside for families who want to eat and try things hands-on.
