Why You Should Visit

Since 2006, volunteers have been planting a forest on reclaimed land along Amagasaki's waterfront, with a 100-year plan to grow it into woodland. This autumn festa at the main lawn of Amagasaki no Mori Central Green Park marks 20 years of planting. Ride an aerial work platform to look down on the treetops, take a cruise to see the forest from the sea, or join a guided forest tour. With stage shows and food stalls and free admission, it makes an easy family day out.
