Why You Should Visit

A craft beer festival held in the grounds of Harada Shrine, a short walk from Hankyu Okamachi Station in Toyonaka. Started in 2025, its second edition brings together 14 breweries — from Osaka, Hyogo and Kyoto out to Tokyo, Ishikawa, Gifu and Ehime. Local restaurants from Sone, Shonai, Hattori-Tenjin and Juso cook spare ribs, mapo tofu and giant Taiwanese fried chicken, and a limited beer called YUTAKA, brewed with Hinohikari rice grown in Toyonaka, makes its debut here. A kids' corner with festival games makes it easy to come with children too.

NOTE

Original beer: YUTAKA
  • Brewed with Hinohikari rice grown and harvested in Toyonaka
  • Inspired by the fact that one of Japan's earliest beers, made in the Meiji era by Toyonaka native Shibuya Shozaburo, was a lager
  • Brewed by CRAFT BEER BASE (Osaka City), whose owner Tani has long lived in Okamachi, where the festival is held
  • On sale at the CRAFT BEER BASE booth (draft) and the event headquarters (bottles, etc.)
About the venue
