The Kansai theme for primary school pupils is "the future of manufacturing in Kansai." On Sunday 25 October, pupils from first grade up to high school seniors run their robots on stage in the robot contest, and others explain their A1 posters to visitors one-to-one in the idea poster section. Visitors can also drop in and try robot car racing, robot sumo and a robot arm that picks up sweets, with no advance sign-up. Admission is free. A good outing for families with kids into robots or making things.
