Venue & access: ATC Hall, Osaka Nanko Directly connected to Trade Center-mae Station (New Tram). By car, exit the Hanshin Expressway Bay Route at Nanko-naka; paid parking is available at ATC.

Why You Should Visit

Takara Tomy's Plarail toy trains take over ATC Hall in Osaka Nanko over the New Year holidays. This edition's theme is a gathering of Shinkansen: the show's largest Shinkansen depot, a 10 m-square diorama viewed from an elevated viaduct, "Departure! Plarail!! Ver.2" where many trains launch at once down a 10 m slope, and a new Shinkansen Room. Everything is indoors, so it suits families with train-loving kids looking for a winter-break outing whatever the weather.

FAQ

From what age do children need a ticket?

Tickets are required from age 3: ¥1,000 for age 3 to elementary (¥800 in advance) and ¥1,400 from junior high up (¥1,200 in advance). Age 2 and under is free.

Are there days when it is closed?

It is closed Jan 5–8. The show runs for seven days: Jan 1–4 and Jan 9–11.

Can we go when it rains?

ATC Hall is indoors and directly connected to Trade Center-mae Station on the New Tram.
