From JR Kusatsu Station take the Kusatsu Line to Kibukawa, then the Shigaraki Kohgen Railway to Shigaraki Station (about 1 hour); the information HQ is a 1-minute walk. By car, about 10 minutes from Shigaraki IC on the Shin-Meishin Expressway.

Stamp rally

• Pick up the Shopping Map with its entry card at any shop or information desk
• Spend ¥1,000 or more at one shop in each of areas A, B and C to get that area's stamp
• With all three stamps, enter via the box at any shop
• Prizes: 1st, an original limited-edition tanuki (10); 2nd, new-crop Shigaraki rice (10); 3rd, an Asamiya tea set (20)
• One entry per person. Missing or duplicate stamps and unofficial cards are invalid. Winners are notified by delivery
