Why You Should Visit

An outdoor market that began at Expo '70 Commemorative Park in 2006, built around eco-friendly living. Handmade crafts, plants, antiques and food stalls fill the East Plaza, with workshops and a stage. Bring your own tableware and bottle; reusable dishes cost ¥150 each if you forget. It runs over two Friday-to-weekend blocks, seven days in total, and suits families and anyone planning to spread out a picnic sheet for the day. Held in rain; may be cancelled in severe weather.

FAQ

Are there costs beyond the admission fee?

Park entry (adults ¥260, elementary/junior high ¥80) is charged separately. If you forget your own tableware, reusable dishes cost ¥150 each.

Is it held in the rain?

Yes, it goes ahead in rain. It may be cancelled in strong wind, heavy rain or lightning, so check the official site on the day.

Can I bring a pet?

No. Expo '70 Commemorative Park does not allow pets.
