Why You Should Visit

A two-day autumn festival run by the Ikeda Chamber of Commerce's young entrepreneurs' group (Ikeda YEG) in the park right outside Hankyu Ikeda Station. Saturday the 17th is football day, with a talk by former Japan international Akira Kaji, a rock-paper-scissors contest and the Sakaemachi shopping street going blue. Sunday the 18th brings a stage show by local hero Ikeda Ranger, Junieco shops run by kids, and a prize lottery. With food stalls steps from the station, it's an easy outing with children.

FAQ

Are the hours the same on both days?

Both days start at 10:00, but Saturday the 17th runs until 17:00 and Sunday the 18th ends 30 minutes earlier at 16:30.

Is it good for kids?

On Sunday the 18th there's an Ikeda Ranger stage show (around 14:00) and Junieco shops run by kids. The venue also has an inflatable gorilla and football games.

Does it go ahead in the rain?
