Why You Should Visit

HYOGOSSIMO, Hyogo Prefecture's official online shop, hosts a one-day marché in the garden of the Hyogo Prefectural Guest House. The third edition, themed 'Autumn Palette', brings about a dozen makers from across the prefecture: Kasai tomatoes, century-old bean paste from Tatsuno, oyster products from Aboshi, and Kobe matches and fukusa fabric goods. It coincides with the free open day of the historic guest house, so you can tour the Meiji-era building between stalls. The prefectural mascot Habatan appears on the hour. A short walk from Motomachi.
