Venue & access: Ecoll Lilas, 2F, 3F and 5F (Fujiwaradai-nakamachi, Kita-ku, Kobe) About 3 min walk from Okaba Station (Shintetsu Sanda Line). By car, about 10 min from Nishinomiya-kita IC on the Chugoku Expressway; use the Ecoll Lilas parking lot.

Why You Should Visit

Now in its fifth year, this marche brings together the best of Kobe's Hokushin area in Kita-ku and neighbouring Sanda City. It spreads across three floors of Ecoll Lilas, the shopping centre by Okaba Station: the 3rd floor has local vegetables and specialty products, bamboo-copter crafting and a cardboard maze for kids, while the 2nd-floor piano plaza hosts live sets by singer-songwriters from Kita-ku and Sanda. A quiz rally planned by third-year students of Arino Junior High runs the same day. Entry is free, so it is easy to drop in with the family while shopping.

Entry is free. Vegetables, local products and food-truck items are paid separately.

Does it go ahead in the rain?

It goes ahead in rain but is cancelled in stormy weather. Any cancellation is announced on the Hokushin Ward Office and Ecoll Lilas websites on the day.

Can anyone join the quiz rally?

It runs 10:00–15:00 with reception at the 3F Fureai Hiroba. Everyone gets a participation gift, and correct answers enter a prize draw. It ends when prizes run out.
