Why You Should Visit

Capcom's touring exhibition on how its games are made comes to the Sagawa Art Museum on the shores of Lake Biwa. From planning documents, original artwork and package graphics to the latest technology, it traces the creation of Street Fighter, Mega Man, Resident Evil, Monster Hunter and more. Hands-on corners let you make your own pixel art, see a character's face react in real time through facial tracking, and try motion capture. The Shiga venue adds four one-of-a-kind Street Fighter oil paintings by legendary Capcom creators. Admission is free for junior high students and younger, so it works well for families who grew up on these games.
