Price & booking: Bar tickets: 1,000 yen for a strip of five 200-yen tickets (cash only). Dishes cost 2–4 tickets; drinks 2 tickets (soft drinks 1) Buy bar tickets on the day at the ticket counter on the B1F Abachika floor (cash only).

Why You Should Visit

A two-evening bar crawl without the crawling, held on Abachika, the basement restaurant floor of Kyoto Avanti right outside the Hachijo exit of Kyoto Station. The fourth edition has a Halloween theme. Buy a strip of five tickets for 1,000 yen, pick up small bal-only dishes from the restaurants (sushi, soba, fried chicken, takoyaki, parfaits and more) and eat them at standing tables. Beer and highballs from the bar counter cost two tickets. Come in costume and your first drink is free, and there is a balloon show and face painting too. An easy after-work stop near Kyoto Station.

Suntory The Premium Malt's, Suntory Kaku highball, Dewar's highball, strong lemon sour, strong grapefruit sour: 400 yen each (2 tickets)
Soft drinks (ginger ale, cola, oolong tea, orange juice): 200 yen each (1 ticket)
Suntory Yamazaki single malt whisky: 400 yen (2 tickets), served in a small tasting cup, limited quantity

How far does one ticket strip go?

One strip is five 200-yen tickets for 1,000 yen. Dishes cost 2–4 tickets and beer or highballs cost 2, so a 2-ticket dish plus one drink uses four tickets. Between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m., The Premium Malt's costs just one ticket.

Can I pay by card or e-money?

Bar tickets are cash only.

Is there anything for people in costume?

Yes. Guests in costume get one free welcome drink, chosen from selected drinks at the bar counter. It is one per person and cannot be combined with other offers.
