Price & booking: Free admission. DAY-CAMP BBQ is ¥6,500 per person (tax included, three-hour sessions, minimum four people per group). An optional drink bar (two hours of free refills) is ¥1,500 per person. No booking is needed for the market or the mochi-pounding. DAY-CAMP BBQ on September 20 is by reservation via the BBQ booking form. The preview slots are limited to three groups for the afternoon session and three for the evening, with a minimum of four people per group. No booking deadline is published. The free shuttle from Sanda Station is for reservation holders at designated times.
Venue & access: UNBY GENERAL GOODS STORE SANDA By train: a free shuttle runs from Sanda Station for BBQ reservation holders only, at designated times. By car: the venue sits beside Aono Dam lake; the organizer publishes no parking or route information.

Why You Should Visit

A two-day gathering at UNBY GENERAL GOODS STORE SANDA, an outdoor shop on the shore of Aono Dam lake in Sanda. Admission is free: the UNBY AUTUMN MARCHE brings together sweets shops popular in Sanda and a local game-meat (gibier) booth, alongside a charity mochi-pounding session tied to the harvest moon. On September 20 only, a small number of advance slots open for DAY-CAMP BBQ, a hands-free barbecue set up under tents in the shop's courtyard. Easy to drop into just for the market, and a good excuse for a lakeside day out in autumn air.

Is admission free?

Entry to the venue is free, and you can shop the market or join the mochi pounding without booking. Only DAY-CAMP BBQ costs money, and it requires an advance reservation.

Is the BBQ available on both days?

The preview slots are on September 20 only, with an afternoon session from 12:00 and an evening session from 16:00. Each takes three groups, with a minimum of four people per group.

Can I get there without a car?

If you book the BBQ, you can use the free shuttle from Sanda Station at a designated time. For visitors without a BBQ booking, no transport information is published.

What happens if it rains?

The organizer has not published a bad-weather policy. Last-minute updates are announced on the shop's official Instagram.
