Why You Should Visit
A once-a-year, neighbourhood-wide art festival held on the grounds of a former shipyard in Kitakagaya, Osaka. The main venue, Creative Center Osaka, hosts the roughly 9.5-metre Rubber Duck by Dutch artist F. Hofman, along with tours of the shipyard ruins, a theatre festival and a food-and-farm market. Kitakagaya Park, the satellite venue, shows a one-day-only giant artwork. Admission is free and it runs rain or shine, with a LINE stamp rally that leads you around the street art — an easy day out with children.
