Why You Should Visit
Oyamazaki's annual autumn town festival, run by the local Chamber of Commerce at Art & Technology Village Kyoto (ATVK), with Mt. Tennozan as the backdrop. Expect a stage program, food trucks and local eateries, free workshops, a working-vehicles corner, festival games, BMX and skateboard try-outs, and the popular Tennozan Bingo. In 2026 it runs alongside the Kyoto & Japan Traditional Culture Festival, with bon-odori dancing too. Free entry and easy for families to spend the day.
