Venue & access: 11 venues in the Otsu Hyakucho area (Pan no Fue, Hotel Koo Chaya and others) All venues are within walking distance of JR Otsu Station (Biwako Line) and Keihan Biwako-Hamaotsu Station. Drivers should use coin car parks nearby.

Why You Should Visit

A one-day music event that fills 11 shops, bars and galleries in Otsu's old Hyakucho quarter, between JR Otsu Station and Keihan Biwako-Hamaotsu Station, with live jazz from noon until late. It was started in 2018 by the owner of Pan no Fue, a jazz bar in Hamaotsu, and now runs every spring and autumn. You walk between a sake shop, a townhouse hotel, cafés and bars, catching sets by a line-up that has recently topped 170 musicians. Entry is free, and a stamp rally rewards those who visit several venues. A relaxed way to explore the shopping streets with music along the way.
