Why You Should Visit

OSAKA Hikari-Renaissance is the Nakanoshima-side core program of Osaka Hikari-Kyoen 2026. While the Midosuji tree illumination runs from November to New Year's Eve, this event is concentrated into 15 days, December 11 to 25, with light art, projections and food and craft markets spread from around Osaka City Hall to Nakanoshima Park. You can see it while strolling the riverside promenade, so it pairs easily with dinner in Yodoyabashi or Kitahama or a walk down Midosuji.
