Why You Should Visit

Lohas Park comes to Nara for the first time, setting up on Suzakumon Hiroba and Suzaku Oji in the Heijo Palace Site, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Booths of handmade accessories, ceramics and homeware, workshops such as snow-globe making, and food and sweets trucks line the grounds in front of the reconstructed Suzaku Gate. The stage has dance and live music on both days, and kids can enjoy a petting zoo, bubbles and more. It falls on Halloween weekend, and visitors who come in costume get a sweet treat.
