Why You Should Visit

A student-run campus festival at Kobe International University on Rokko Island, drawing around 1,400 visitors in a typical year. This year's theme is "Senko Bansai" (a thousand lights). Expect student food stalls and kitchen cars, a haunted house, and stage sets from the light-music club and a K-pop dance circle. At 16:40 YouTubers Makihika and Umetani take the stage for a talk show and an impressions battle, and the day closes with the festival's first sky lantern lighting, with 100 lanterns lit at dusk. A relaxed way to see a Japanese university festival with family or friends.
