Why You Should Visit

A street music event where 39 acts play live at five spots around central Kinomoto in Nagahama. It runs alongside the Japan Coffee Festival held in Kinomoto on the same two days, so you can sip coffee brewed with local spring water and wander the old Hokkoku Kaido post town from one performance to the next. Jazz leads the line-up, along with bossa nova, Latin, blues, gospel, Irish music and more, with each act playing a 40-minute set, and a guest performance at 16:00 on both days. Admission is free. A good add-on for anyone heading to the coffee festival who also wants live music.
