Why You Should Visit

A two-day autumn festival at Neyagawa's Espoir community centre, run with the circles that use the building. About 30 groups take turns on the Multipurpose Hall stage in 20-minute slots, from wadaiko drums and shigin chanting to ocarina, rakugo and iaido, while rooms show flower arrangements, calligraphy, paintings and miniature bonsai. Kids can make acorn crafts and handmade toys or have a family photo taken, with a puppet show on the 24th and a panel theatre on the 25th. The food-and-games village has ring toss, lucky draws, yakisoba and udon, making it an easy half-day outing with children.

About 800 m (15-min walk) from the south exit of Neyagawa-shi Station (Keihan Main Line). Parking is at Seibi Elementary School (not available in heavy rain).

Facility use during the festival

Can anyone go?

No advance booking is mentioned; it's a local festival you simply drop in on during opening hours.

Can I come by car?

Parking is at Seibi Elementary School, but it can't be used in heavy rain.

Is each day different?

Yes. The stage line-up changes each day, and the kids' show is a puppet show on the 24th and a panel theatre on the 25th. The 25th ends an hour earlier, at 15:00.
