Rokko Island Halloween Festival 2026

Dates & time: October 24, 2026 (Sat) - October 25, 2026 (Sun) 11:00–17:00 (both days)
Price & booking: Free entry (some activities paid: Halloween art ¥800, games from ¥200, inflatable park ¥700 per 10 min, etc.) No registration needed for booths, Trick or Treat and the stage. Apply for the costume contest (Oct 24, 15 entries) via the contest form and the costume parade (Oct 25, first 300 people) via the parade form; both are free and close when full.
Venue & access: Rokko Island River Mall / Event Plaza Right at Island Center Station on the Rokko Liner. By car, about 5 min from the Rokko Island Kita exit of Hanshin Expressway Route 5 Bayshore (use nearby paid parking)

Why You Should Visit

A two-day Halloween event spread across Rokko Island. Shop and company booths, food trucks, a performance stage and roaming street performers fill the River Mall and Event Plaza, while kids in costume can trick-or-treat at shops around the island and try inflatable play equipment, festival games and craft corners. A costume contest is planned for the 24th and a costume parade for the 25th.

NOTE

Booths: shops and companies from the island, food trucks, fresh vegetables
Trick or Treat: from 11:00, visit shops and facilities around the island and say the magic words for sweets (while supplies last)
Halloween Bank / Halloween Craft: art corner where you design your own Halloween goods (¥800 each, Halloween paint ¥200 per sheet; while supplies last)
Games & attractions: inflatable park ¥700 per 10 min, bouncy-ball scooping and target shooting ¥200 a go, string-pull lottery ¥300 a go
Street performances: performers roaming the venue
Performance stage: local dance teams and artists

Sat Oct 24

Costume contest: on the special event stage (north side of River Mall Park). Advance registration, 15 entries, free. Prizes for top entries

Sun Oct 25

Costume parade: starts around 11:30 (check-in from 10:30 near the main entrance of the Kobe Fashion Museum on River Mall). Advance registration, first 300 people, free. Gifts for registered participants, first come first served
Vissel Kobe mascot Movi and the Elecom Kobe Finies Cheerleaders join the parade

Do I need to register to take part?

Booths and trick-or-treating are open to all. The costume contest (Oct 24, 15 entries) and costume parade (Oct 25, first 300 people) need advance registration via the forms on the special site; both are free.

What are the event hours?

11:00–17:00 on both days. Trick-or-treating starts at 11:00 and ends at each shop when sweets run out. The costume parade on the 25th is scheduled to start at 11:30.

Is it good for families with children?

Inflatables, fair stalls and Halloween crafts are aimed at children. Vissel Kobe mascot Movi joins the parade on the 25th. Sweets are handed out while supplies last.
