Why You Should Visit

The Konohana Ward shopping-street federation turns four arcades in Osaka's Shikanjima area into a kids' Halloween festival. Expect free game corners and street-food stalls, with a parent-and-child manzai act and a calligraphy performance on stage. The highlight is the big raffle from 15:30: numbered wristbands handed out to under-18s can win gift cards, fruit, Osaka Evessa game tickets and more. There's no candy handout. The Konohana Ward Festival runs the same day at Shorenjigawa Park.
