Why You Should Visit
A prefecture-wide event in which 114 museums across Hyogo open their doors for free from July 9 to 15. From Kobe and the Hanshin area to Harima, Tajima, Tamba, and Awaji, even normally paid venues can be visited at no charge. In Kobe, the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art is among the participants. Many venues also offer priority entry for families with small children and visitors with disabilities, temporary childcare, sign-language tours, and hands-on exhibits — making it easy for anyone to drop in.
