Why You Should Visit
A community event celebrating the second anniversary of the renewal of Tamarotto, the gathering space inside Nishi-ku's Tamatsu Government Building. Outdoors, kids can see working vehicles such as fire trucks and patrol cars and try the earthquake-simulation vehicle, while booths and food trucks serve dishes made with local Nishi-ku produce. There's also a tasting flight of craft beers brewed from barley grown in Tamatsu, plus nature activities like herb dyeing and bamboo splitting. Indoors, hands-on workshops for children and adults run alongside stage performances throughout the day — a relaxed way for the whole family to connect with the local community.
