2026 Maiko Ondo Bon Odori

Why You Should Visit

One of the bon-odori dance gatherings handed down in Kobe's Tarumi ward, held in the grounds of Maiko Rokujinja Shrine. Dancers move to distinctive ondo songs ranging from traditional folk tunes to anime themes popular with kids, so all generations can join the circle. Admission is free — a relaxed taste of a local summer tradition, and easy to drop by with family.
