Why You Should Visit

A major retrospective marking 30 years of Fumiyo Kono's career as a manga artist — best known internationally for 'In This Corner of the World.' Held at Himeji City Museum of Literature in two parts (Part 1: Apr 18–May 10 / Part 2: May 13–Jun 21), the exhibition presents over 500 original manga pages alongside illustration originals, picture book artwork, never-before-seen footage, and even her high school sketchbooks. A rare chance to see the originals up close. Related events include live painting, lectures, film screenings, and collaboration menus.
