Why You Should Visit
Held in tune with "Time Day" on June 10, this pop-up event by the Akashi Municipal Planetarium explores the theme of time. At Akashi Citizens' Plaza, you'll find a talk about time and workshops such as making your own sundial. An inflatable mobile planetarium is also set up, letting you enjoy a starry sky inside the dome. A fitting day out for Akashi, "the city of time," where visitors young and old can have fun learning about time and the universe. The indoor venue means it goes ahead rain or shine—great for a family outing.
