Washoku Tanza, an izakaya pairing seasonal fish and Japanese dishes with sake and shochu, opened on October 31, 2026 in Doyamacho, along Umeda's Higashi-dori. Signature plates include saikyo-miso grilled black cod, charcoal-grilled Miyazaki jidori chicken and tai-meshi sea bream rice. There is a 10-seat counter plus sunken-kotatsu private rooms that join up for groups of up to 40. Open 16:30–23:00, closed irregularly.
