Kuguru, a shabu-shabu restaurant built around tasting the different cuts of Hayashi SPF Pork from Chiba, opened on September 14, 2026 on the third floor of the Akashi Kanko Building in Sakuramachi, five minutes on foot from JR and Sanyo Akashi Station. The restaurant buys whole pigs and serves loin, belly, shoulder loin and thigh side by side; courses run ¥5,000–¥7,500 and include starters, seasonal vegetables, a rice porridge or Inaniwa udon finish and Kobe gelato, with no cover charge. Open 18:00–midnight (the late-night obanzai service is on hold for now), closed Mondays. 28 seats including one private room for six. Smoking is allowed at all seats.
